Summer Academy at the University Botanic Garden – Balchik with Smiles and Inspiration

On June 20th, 2025, a session of Summer Academy took place at the University Botanic Garden – Balchik, organized in collaboration with the Historical Museum Balchik. The event was dedicated to the youngest visitors and offered a rich program of engaging activities.

During their visit, the children explored the history of the garden and discovered some of its botanical treasures. They created their own herbarium specimens and got hands-on experience with vegetative propagation using Begonia species. These interactive activities combined learning, creativity, and play in a unique natural setting.

The Summer Academy is a great example of effective collaboration between cultural and scientific institutions. It provides a positive learning environment while nurturing curiosity, discipline, and ecological awareness in young minds.
