Art Among the Flowers – Celebrating 70 Years of the University Botanical Garden, Balchik

To mark its 70th anniversary, the University Botanical Garden – Balchik invites locals and visitors to a special “Art Among the Flowers” exhibition. For three vibrant summer days, art, crafts, and music will fill the fragrant pathways and shaded corners of the enchanting “Rasadnika” Garden.

Visitors can enjoy:

• Original works by talented Bulgarian artists

• Live demonstrations of traditional crafts such as pottery and the creation of authentic silver folk jewelry

• A variety of handcrafted products showcased amidst stunning garden landscapes

• A festive music program and artistic performances

The event takes place during the garden’s regular hours, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, as part of the celebrations marking the 70th anniversary of the Botanical Garden – an institution dedicated to preserving nature while fostering science and culture for generations.
