The Tulip Festival

Garden: Balchik
Date published: 01.04.2026

The Tulip Festival at the University Botanical Garden Balchik has begun, and the first blooms are already welcoming visitors.
The earliest tulips are starting to open, revealing large, still half-unfolded blossoms that hint at the vibrant display to come. Those drawn to refined, elegant shapes can already enjoy the mid-early varieties, with their graceful silhouettes and delicate lines offering a preview of the festival’s upcoming peak.
As tulips gradually bring color to the large flower parterres in the Nursery Garden and the Divine Garden, pansies and daisies are already standing out in the Carnation Garden and within the ornamental displays around the Silver Well.
The season is only just beginning—each day will unveil new layers of color and composition across the garden.
Take a walk and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of spring.
